Spud van het Nijhofstee is a daughter of Hickstead White who is by the legendary Hickstead and competes at 1.60m with Jorne Sprehe. The dam of Spud van het Nijhofstee, Granita, is by Eldorado van de Zeshoek and is sister to the two 1.60m performers Aventador ridden by David Jennings and D'Arnita ridden by Molly Ashe Cawley. Granita is also the sister of Kelvin who jumped up to 1.50m and Butter Scotch who performed at 1.45m level.
Spud van het Nijhofstee is a quality mare with an outstanding character and willingness to work. She also demonstrates a great capacity for jumping with a beautiful bascule and great technique.
